Microsoft office 2008 for MB pro

My cd/ dvd player has packed up because I dropped my macbook pro and I need to put office on it. I have the product key but is there anywhere I can download it?

Not legally.

My suggestion would be to purchase a cheap, external USB DVD drive. Something like this should do the trick:

It's probably best to purchase an external drive as you've been advised, however, since you have a legal key for MS Office 2008, you can download their trial copy. Use your legal key to register the trial copy. That method has worked for others and unless MS has changed their trial vs registered versions, that method should work as well for you.

Office 2008 download

I have 3 licenses of Office 2008 Home edition , just bought a new Macbook pro , but the CD is damaged. I've tried to download it from the MS site , but this version is not supported anymore (!!!) . Does anyone knows where I can download the (legal) application ?
