It requires 10.5.8 !!!!

To the OP if you can dl 10.5.8 combo update, then as scathe has linked you too Safari 5 you will be able to then dl that .v Safari ...

Click the apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and select About this Mac. It will show you what OS version you have.

10.4 is Tiger
10.5 is Leopard

Welcome mate

The combo update upgrades Safari to 4.0.2 so you'll be getting Safari 4 with the combo update. Update Safari afterwards as necessary.

I dont have safari on Mac 10.5.6
If i install Combo 10.5.8 whther it will install Safari 4.0.2

And also let me know where can i get the Safari 3.x installer for Mac 10.5.6

Safari 3 for Leopard: http://support.apple.com/downloads/Safari_3_2_3_for_Leopard. Note that it requires at least OS X 10.5.7.

You likely won't be able to install Safari 3 alongside Safari 4. Can I ask why you need both versions?

I have to get in line with vansmith, why in the world would you want Safari 3? Why not keep your system up-to-date?

I know in some cases it's recommended to use older software to be sure it's certified for a product, but really, Safari 3?

Safari 3 is dated. Has issues with many sites. Things have changed so much on the internet since Safari 3 was around. Go with at least Safari 4.

I'll venture a guess and say it maybe has to do with testing something across all versions of a browser. Otherwise, as noted above, Safari 4 should be a minimum.
