So, just recently when I boot up my computer I get this stupid message.

It started when I installed the program "Bowtie", but I uninstalled it, and it still keeps coming up.i
Also, It tells me to go to Library/StartupItems, but I don't have a folder of that there :(

Please help someone!

How did you uninstall "Bowtie"? It may be possible that you did not get all of it uninstalled. I tried to find some info from their website but apparently the only way to get support is to use email to the author.

Use your Spotlight search capability to see if you can ferret out anything that might be remaining causing the problem.

Make sure you're looking in the correct folder:

MacIntosh HD/library/StartupItems

Also check the login items: System Preferences, Accounts, Login Items.

Regards.
