Hi Guys,
Not too long ago, I spilt liquid on my almost-year-old MacBook. A month later, every time I boot up OSX it goes into sleep mode from the login sceen (blinking light) and the power button will not turn it back on.
Ok, so I've gotten my water-damaged, white macbook to boot up in Ubuntu, as OSX just sleeps everytime it is loaded (after 5 - 10 seconds).
Because of the nature of the problem (sleeping when OSX is loaded) and the fact that Ubuntu boots with the ACPI disabled, I'm now assuming that there is a problem with either the power management, or the lid-shut sensor.
My question is, is there any way to disable these features in OSX just like I have in Ubuntu (which works).
If not, how can I access my HDD without OSX?
Thanks Alot!
