annoying black date box iphoto

Hi - can anyone tell me how to get rid of that annoy black date box that appears and covers my photos when scrolling through iphoto? I would SOOO
appreciate it! Thank you!

That Black Box changes from date to title, keyword etc, according to how you sort your photos and can come in handy sometimes to find photos. The easiest way to not see it is to not put your curser in the scroll bar when you scroll, but if you really want it gone, go to iPhoto preferences and under the Appearance tab uncheck "Show scrolling information".
