What is a good alternative to Boot Camp. I am debating on installing a Windows OS on my PowerMac G5 and I think you can't run Boot Camp on a non-Intel based machine. Any ideas?

I don't recommend it. Your PPC Mac can't run Boot Camp nor can it use VM software such as Parallels or Fusion. There are several emulators that will allow running Windows on your G5 but they're horribly slow and error prone.

Regards.

Basically, don't.

Buy the cheapest POS PC you can find and do your Windows crap there until you can get an Intel Mac.

I don't know
I could never even get windows to work on my outstanding 27" imac. Parallels just sucked for me and I never use it. It takes like 10 minutes to load up and slows the whole computer down to a crawl. One huge broken promise of a program.

I already have a Intel iMac. I was just seeing for the heck of it if I could actually install Windows on my G5. Thank for your help everyone!

I have XP/Parallels in it's own "space" and if there is a speed effect on the Mac OS I don't notice it. I use it for some legacy programs that prefer XP over other Windows versions. Nice and snappy there too. One year old MP. I have XP stripped down a bit, things turned off.
