back light works sometimes

my back light wont turn on unless my computer is less the 90 degrees open. im not sure what set my mac book off. it has had some falls and it has over heated once melting part of the screens connection to the body but that was over 2 years ago.

Seems to be a hardware problem...
Sounds like your computer is a bit old...
