I have the latest Macbook White from the last style before Apple ruined it.

I've read some bad things about Sim City 4 for Mac on wikipedia. Is that outdated or exaggerated. I hope so because I greatly adore Sim City 4.

I'm using the latest Snow Leopard version.

Thank you.

I'm trying it through wine. The installation seems to be working.

It worked at first. Then I tried changing the options to use hardware rendering. That's where it broke. :(

I am running sim city 4 deluxe mac version on my DA G4 733Mhz / 1GB RAM / 32MB radeon. It actually runns with less crashing than on my win7 with a core 2 duo / 4GB / high-end laptop geforce.

I am also running the windows sc4 via an XP VM using vmplayer for linux - runs better than win 7.

I got the Windows version working through wine after updating Wine. It runs quite well but it did crash once.
