hi all

WHY oh WHY did I buy an iMac? Better than Windows?? HA! Don't make me laugh! I bought my iMac less than a year ago

I just wanted to burn a double sided DVD. After 2 failures (no idea why), my unburned failed DVD is inside and it won't come out!

Noooooooooo, the eject button doesn't work.
Noooooooooo, command E doesn't work.
Noooooooo, eject disk in iTunes won't work.
Nooooooooooooo, restarting and holding down the mousebutton (any mouse button) won't work!

I'm totally frustrated here! Anybody out there who can help out and bring my blood pressure back to normal??? I would be eternally grateful.

Note what the article states - that method won't work on Intel Macs.

Open up a Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/) and paste in the following:
Code:
drutil tray eject
Press enter and your disc should pop out.

We just LOVE helping people with attitudes like yours.

Not.

Go back to Windows and hurry -- Apple is about to surpass MS in revenue (already surpassed them in net worth), Ballmer's days are numbered.
