Hi all,

My current version of OS is 10.5.8 OS X. I once partitioned my HDD with Windows and then uninstalled later.

At the startup to get the correct OS I needed to keep ALT pressed. After I uninstalled the partition, I was still being asked to select OS X.

Since I only have the Mac OS, is there any way I can start up the Mac and have OS X load without having to keep ALT pressed down?

Welcome to Mac Forums.
Too easy :)
Just go to system preferences>startup disk, and select the OS X partition!
