Transferring emails from Windows to New iMac.

I need to know if there is a way to transfer emails from Microsoft Outlook over to a New iMac. There are quite a few emails and some have PDF attachments as well. Any help is much appreciated.

I've always dragged all of my mail out of Outlook and into another folder and everything's coped fine. Schweb's solution is probably more reliable, though
