Help---my browser gets taken over! On many websites (e.g., Huffington Post), when I click on a link, my browser goes to the link only very briefly before an unwanted redirect to either cnet.surveys.net or google.analytics. Once my browser is re-directed, it's almost impossible to backtrack to the original website and it keeps re-directing to the unwanted URL. This only started to happen recently. I'm using Firefox 3.5.10 on a Macbook with Snow Leopard. Under the Firefox preferences, check boxes are checked for blocking pop-ups and java and java script is enabled. Under the security tab, check boxes are checked for blocking attack sites and web forgeries. I've tried deleting all cookies, but that didn't correct the problem. Any idea what is causing this and how I can correct it? Thanks.
