I was cleaning out my Mac from all the unwanted applications I had installed. (I have a 250 GB hard drive and only 50 GB left). I got tired of using the CleanMyMac application so me and my nephew were just dragging apps to the trash. My nephew accidentally deleted the iLife folder and the MS Office folder. I got Office reinstalled, but I don't know how to reinstall iLife. I put in the original installation DVDs that came with the Mac and it's not on there I can only reinstall all of Snow Leopard. I also tried using the one from my new MacBook Pro I got and it doesn't work either. Anybody know any thing that might help?

I tried once, I will do it again. Will the one from my other Mac work?

You shouldn't need the disc from your other machine. The iLife suite is on the second disc for sure.

I just though of this. On my installation disk with my iMac it has iLife '08 and the one from my MacBook Pro has iLife '09. Is there a way I can get iLife '09 on my iMac?

Thanks

I found it now, it's on the package titled "Install Bundled Software Only"
Would the one from my MacBook Pro work? So I can get iLife '09 on my iMac as well?

Okay, sorry I just read another similar post and found out that this is not legal, so never mind.
