My White 17" iMac got the white stripe display problem, will a 20" do the same?

Did the 20" white Intel iMac suffer from the same problem as the 17" iMac? I hear the broken LCD is quite common.

I've been put off the getting the aluminium 20" iMac because the displays have been reviewed badly.

What do you think?

i've had the new aluminium mac and its the best desktop i have ever used, no problems. the display issues of the new imacs i believe has been fix in a recent software update. go ahead and get it. if you have a problem, apple will be there to help you, dont worry.
