Once again I am not sure if this is the right forum for this query?

I have a TomTom Go720 and have put TomTom Home on my iMac 20 1/2 to support it. I normally use it on my Windows laptop, but decided to try it on my iMac. When I try to do anything on the iMac to the GPS it keeps on telling me that I am trying to write to a read only file.

Has anyone come across this and if so how did you sort it out please?

I too have a TomTom 720 with full UK/Western Europe map. Only thing that comes to mind is that the internal memory of the TomTom is full. After one update I couldn't write any more to mine for that reason.
