so my mbp (not a unibody but the model before that- 2.2 core 2 duo) only last about 1.5 hours or so... i got an aftermarket battery last time it started going down, but i was just curious if someone had put out a longer lasting battery comparable to the new 6 hour batteries?

Was it from OWC? They are usually quite fast. If it was, you can go here to track your order, and if there is an issue, contact their customer service and see what's going on.
Umm…they claim an extra 4.4% capacity.
Unless your present battery was really shot, that's an extra 3.96 minutes.
Gotta drop battery demand, or get one of those bottom of case 2nd batteries that weigh a pound or three extra if you want way more life from that laptop.
