Problems installing Magic Jack?????

MacBook Pro 3.1,OSX Yosemite 10.5.5, 2.2GZ Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB 667 MHz SDRAM
I've tried repeatedly but nothing happens. The 2 icons(one for the MJ), the other for 'phone'(only for 911 use) show up on my desktop but don't do anything when I click on 'em. Just moved to Beijing, China and a friend highly recommended I install this...but he has a PC. The instruct states it's compatible w/Intel based Macs, which mine is. Anyone else w/MJ install issues? Help!

Did some reading.

What are your Macs specs? Is it a Notebook or a desktop? If it's a Desktop do not plug the MJ into the keyboards USB port but into a port on the Mac itself.

Give us a bit more info.
