Hello All,
This is my first time posting, though I have seen many threads from here while searching google. My question is this, I am about to upgrade my macbook pro 13's hdd from the OEM hitachi 160gb 5400 rpm drive to a Seagate 500gb 7200rpm. I have installed countless hardware upgrades in computers...so the actual replacement does not worry me.
Im wondering about restoring the drive, When I purchased my mbp It had Leopard installed and came with the Snow Leopard upgrade disc. So when I format the new drive can i do the full install from the SL upgrade disc, or do I have to install from leopard recovery disk the SL upgrade disk? Also, after that I can just restore from a Time MAchine backup and all my files and apps like Photo Shop should be there right?
Thank You
