Going to get a macbook pro 15-inch to mainly be hooked up to a 40''-50'' TV.

My question is will I be able to notice a difference between the i5 with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 256MB and the i7 with NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 512MB hooked up to a TV as the monitor?

Any insight on this is greatly appreciated.

A difference in the appearance of the screen?

No.

You may be able to use a little higher settings in a few games with the extra video RAM.

A noticeable difference in the performance of say.. playing an HD movie. Would you be able to notice a smoother playback with the i7 and more video ram?
