Hopefully I am the right place here.

I have tried to install both applications but they come with errors. Have said that I have both applications before now but I can't re-install now?

I am running Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard.

Many thanks in advance.

What errors?

I haven't used iPlayer but from what I know, it uses AIR much like TweetDeck does. Have you tried updating/re-installing AIR and then re-installing the apps?

That log doesn't help me much (it's fairly cryptic). What error do you get when you try to install the applications? Have you re-installed Adobe AIR?

I will try Adobe Air and see that solves the problem. Have to do it tonight though.

Thanks again.

Might sound like a stupid question but how do you uninstall Adobe Air?

Keep it simple I am still a mac virgin so to speak. :)

If that doesn't work (or the uninstaller isn't present), you're going to have to use the Terminal (/Applications/Utilities). Once that's open, paste in the following:
Code:
cd /Volumes/Adobe\ AIR/Adobe\ AIR\ Installer.app/Contents/MacOS
Hit enter and then paste the following:
Code:
sudo ./Adobe\ AIR\ Installer -uninstall
Hit enter. This will ask for your password - enter it (nothing will appear as you type) and press enter.

See here.
