safari quits randomly

i tried deleting the com.safari preferences folder, and the issue is still persistent. out of nowhere, it just quits and an error message shows up. any ideas? everything is up to date as well.

An error message? Do you suppose that might be a clue? You know, what it said...

I highly doubt it's random. Console log will say why it crashed. Keep console log running if you don't remember what time safari last crashed on you. The majority of safari's crashes are either from java or flash.

i can go to ALL the same sites on my MBP and it will never happen. only on my iMac... ugh.

Next time this happens, copy and past the ENTIRE report (at least everything regarding thread 0) here and maybe we can decode what's going on.
