new phone

I finally got my new iphone 4 and it will be replacing my 3G. I sync the phone to a mac and want to make sure that I keep all of my contacts, ect on my phone. How do I go about getting all of my information onto the new phone?

Just choose to restore it with your old phone's backup the first time you sync it.

thanks. i am having problems. i keep getting a warning "...cannot be synced. a duplicate file name was specified." also, it doesnt seem to be activated. thanks again.
