The PowerBook I ordered from Apple will come with 1GB of RAM from the factory. How is the Ram configured? Will I be able to upgrade this in the future, or is one of the chips soldered on? Thanks!

Apple is not your typical computer maker. I know with the titanium powerbooks, they have separate chips, and I see no reason why they would integrate ram in the new powerbooks. Also, seeing that the powerbooks now go to 2GB of ram, would mean that you would replace the 512 DIMMs you have now, with 1GB DIMMS to get 2GB.
