Hi,

I have Snow Leopard and I'm running XP on a Bootcamp partition. To try and overcome some bugs in XP I downloaded Bootcamp_3.1_32bit.exe and started to install it. A message appeared saying I require Bootcamp 3 or higher to run this update, the thing is I checked the version of Bootcamp Assistant and it is 3.0.2. Anyone know what's going on with that or how to get around it?

Thanks

it sounds like you haven't installed the Boot Camp drivers in Windows. If you have a retail Snow Leopard DVD (I don't believe that the copy of SL that ships with Macs will have them), then boot into Windows, insert the DVD, and you should be prompted to install the drivers.

As noted by lifeisabeach:

BootCamp Assistant is the app in OSX that partitions and allows for the installation of Windows.
BootCamp is the driver package that needs to be installed in Windows from the Leopard / Snow Leopard disc.
