I have a DVD rom with many images on it, If I try to copy the Imac freezes. Only way out is to relaunch finder. Sounds like a used thrashing machine when I first insert disk.
Get everything started again and I am able to open dvd and see files
I can drag and drop a folder to desk top for copying purpose so long as that folder contains no sub folders.
I can open and copy the individual images from the top folder which contains a sub folder
If I try to drag and drop the sub folder to desktop its freeze time again. If I try to open sub folder it sometimes open but cannot copy any of the files or images or just freezes when attempting to open
Anyone have any ideas? I would really like to get all images off disk
