Whilst at an Apple resellers' shop today, I noticed they have both Belkin and Logitech Mac/PC transfer cables available in the Apple accessories area. These things advertise themselves as having the ability to transfer data from a PC to a Mac, including files (docs, xls, pdf etc.) and emails with attachments...

They retail for around the $90 mark.

I'm wondering, has anyone used these? Are they a solid, reliable data-transfer solution? Really, the question is, do they work as advertised?

I got a Targus and it works great for me for transfering audio files.

I wound up getting the Belkin one. Overall, a waste of $85. I was far better off spending $10 on O2M to achieve what I really needed and just using cloud transfers & ethernet for the rest.

Thanks for posting back. Yes, the $10 spent on O2M is definitely worth it.
