Geek Tool Assistance

I recently got on the bandwagon with this neat little application. However, I'm having problems getting it it to display the Network up/down bandwidth working. I've googled several times and tried a couple different techniques without luck. Does anyone here have this working correctly, and can you help me out??

~~Also I'd like to have a custom countdown timer displayed as well and would appreciate any help with sourcing this.
