applecare

so i sent of my ibook for screen repairs, and this makes me wonder, should i go ahead and get applecare? or is it too late? my waranty expires in october, and i dont want sometihn to happen to it while im poor and in college

You can purchase the applecare anytime before the warranty expires so you don't have to do it immediately. I have AppleCare with my powerbook and it has already paid for itself because of a repair. I don't think its as important with the mini/eMac since they are much more reliable but with new models I think it is worth the extra money for the 2 more years
