Just wondering if there is a way to say... if you received an HTML email can you click on a link inside said email and have it open within Mail so that one can still forward the article? This is for a client.

Let me know!

I doubt it since Mail isn't a web browser. It would be a huge security risk.

Yea... she claims that she used to be able to do that... example:
She receives a new york times article in mail - clicks on a link to a different article within that mail - and it pops her to the browser. The same way it's always worked for me.

She claims that it used to open the new link in mail so she could forward the article to a friend. I dunno. Any ideas?

Never would have opened in Mail. The website might have had a "forward to a friend option. Or maybe Safari has some sort of send page via e-mail function (I'm not at home so I can't check right now).

She's actually using FireFox for a browser. I didn't think it would have opened in Mail, but she claims it did. I couldn't find a forward to friend link on the page when we looked, but now that we have TeamViewer installed it might be a bit easier to diagnose.
