I had a little issue last night and needed to restore my OS with Time Machine. The problem is, even with the latest back up of TM, it loaded my files and settings from at least a week ago.

So all of my documents that I created recently didn't restore.

I've gone through all of my time machine back ups and they don't seem to include very recent files.

Whats the issue here?

Go over your Time Machine settings and make sure you haven't excluded any particular files or folders. If your backup settings are so that everything is backed up, the latest files and documents you created should have been copied to your backup drive.

Regards.

No, there isn't anything excluded except the TM drive itself. A couple of days ago I added music to the music folder and even that isn't there...

Hmmm... I guess that seconds the fact that you need multiple back ups.

It has been backing up properly since the restore...
