Hi, for some reason my imac 24 says that there is not enough space on my installation drive to install programs but i have a 500gb hd and the program is only about 20gb. My HD has about 450gb of space left. i've attached a photo of the screen. any suggestions?

Doesn't say there is not enough space - it's only making a guess in that error message.

The installer had problems of some sort though. Think I'd try running it again.

What version of OSX are you using and what app are you trying to install?

Hi Bob, thanks for the quick response. I really appreciate it. I have tried running the installer several times with the same result. I have the latest version before snow leopard. I am trying to install Stylus RMX. I had it installed before on this same computer but removed it due to a glitch. When I tried to reinstall it I got the message I attached in my previous post. M

Probably need to call Spectrasonics support.
