Text wrap

Moved to MAC about a week ago (MBP & MAC Mini) and all has gone very smoothly and I am very pleased.
Only thing I don't seem to be able to sort is that the text wrap does not work. I have tried typing on Bean, Open Office and Thunderbird and it just keeps going on one line. Is there a box I need to check or something?

Each of the programs you mentioned have preferences that can be set.

Thunderbird is a bit more difficult to set word wrap as there are actually two settings: one for email, the other for the newsreader.

As for the Bean and Open Office word processors, word wrap is gauged by the document margins that have been set. Generally the default margin settings for both Bean and OO are 1".

Are you saying that even after setting margins the text refuses to wrap?

Logged in this morning and all seems to be OK. No settings changed, bizarre!
