I configured my phone for use with tmobile, I have 4.0 I can send picture messages but cant receive them I get an error message saying "The media content was not included due to picture resolution or message size restriction"
I put all the VPN info in and no luck and everything I have found the sinfuliphonerepo (I get an error message with this in cydia) and wap.voicestream.com etc nothing seems to work I have followed all directions and even called tmobile and changed my data plan to accommodate the iphone. Can someone help me? Seems like all the info I find is out of date. :\

Actually you're incorrect. We do not allow discussion of actually how to jailbreak a phone as that's illegal. If there is a question on how to use the phone outside of that, we won't stop it. Of course the answer probably will just be, restore the real firmware to people having issues ;)

It's the same principle behind not allowing talk of ripping commercial DVDs, but we're not going to stop you from asking how to play a DVD in your DVD player.

And from a purely legal standpoint, he's asking about settings to be used on an unlocked phone which is not illegal in any way.

@schweb...ahh..my bad..I saw T-mobile/cydia/VPN and naturally assumed the phone it was jailbroken-related discussion..since Cydia/VPN are only available on jailbroken phones..

Plug it into iTunes and hit the "RESTORE" button. I'm not sure if it will need to be unlocked again though, I've heard that once the phone is unlocked it's unlocked. It would have to be jailbroken again though.

That may be a Tmobile issue and not a iPhone issue.

I would try and call Tmobile ask them (Don't worry there cool with iPhones)

It could be. The carrier bundles for Tmobile are not yet fully compatible with 4.0

BTW: Did you go into Cydia and download the Tmobile USA carrier bundles?

Good for you. I can't help but notice you found neither the answer nor much help here. :)

All we can do is try. Glad the OP get it figured out.
