iPhoto no longer works...

Well my own fault, i messed with some iPhoto library folders and now iPhoto doesn't run properly. Its extreamly slow (Beach balls) and thumbnails are missing. I backed up the pics and am ready to just re-install iPhoto but thought I'd come here first and see if there is an easier way.

You don't need to reinstall iPhoto. Just delete the iPhoto Library folder from your Pictures folder after you backup your pictures. Then import them back into iPhoto.
