Java problem on my Mac OS X 10.4. 11

I have been having trouble with opening some java applet.
It says "loading java applet failed..."
I have tried downloading different Java things but it isnt working.
I am using firefox on my MAC OS X 10.4.11 and its Tiger.
Can somone give me a link to a download.
or does anyone know why it isnt working.
Please help me.

Mini (2014, 2018, 2020), MBA (2020), iPad Pro (2018), iPhone 13 Pro Max, Watch (S6)
Does this happen across browsers? Do you know what version of Java you're running? If not, go to /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences.app. What do you have listed under the Java applet section?
