Why does iTunes keep re-syncing my videos?

MacBook Pro on OS X Mavericks
Every single time I sync my iPhone or iPod to iTunes, it erases the current videos on there and then re-syncs them, but it leaves all the other media intact. Why does this keep happening to me? :\
