If I open Activity monitor and keep an eye on my "data received/sec" while running this test Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test
I notice that while speedtest.net is telling me that I'm downloading at 8+ mb/s, activity monitor is telling me that I peaked at 1.1 mb/s. Why is it not close to the same?

Speedtest.net gives you a number in Mb/s
Activity Monitor gives you a number in MB/s

1 MB = 8 Mb
