black screen when surfing the net

Just got one 2 days ago. Was trying to surf the net tonight but screen is black, if I rotate the Ipad, you can quickly see the address bar for a second then it goes black again.

All other apps seems to be working fine.

Any thoughts?

Have you tried to reset the ipad to see if that helps?

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
