Won't wake up

I tried waking my mac from sleep and i got a blank grey screen. I had to do a forced reboot by holding down the power switch.

What gives???

I'd try resetting the power management unit PMU.

There's a certain key combination you have to hit at startup to do it, I'd check apple's support page for info for your particular model.

well this is the first time this has ever happened in owning it since FEB. i checked all those pages (thank u) and doesn't seem like its any of those issues. It hasn't happened again so...

Shall I reset VRAM anyway? thanks.
