I downloaded Google Earth on my MacBook but it would never play correctly, so I trashed all the Google Earth files I could find. However, the Google Earth icon is still in my Dock and I can't remove it. It won't let me "poof" it from the dock, won't let me put it in the trash, etc... how can I get rid of the thing? TIA.

It just jumps back to the Dock and gives no error message to you?

Did it perhaps have an uninstaller that you should have used?

Can't Remove Icon From Dock

Yes, when I pick it up out of the dock, it shows the little "cloud" to go "poof" but then just returns right back to the dock. There's no uninstall file for it.

I had trashed everything with "Google Earth" in its name but the Google Earth icon stayed in my dock. I gave up, turned off the MacBook and went to bed. This morning when I powered up, the icon is gone! I don't know why it wouldn't "poof" itself but just disappeared with a restart. Thanks for the help.
