Ipad won't see my contact lists

When using my yahoo mail account on the ipad, when I go to write an email my auto fill of my contacts in yahoo does not work. It seems it will only autofill those contacts that I have gotten email from with the ipad. Won't autofill an address like it does on my mbp.

any suggestions
