I have a Hewlett Packard HP 1020 Laser printer left over from my PC days. I cannot seem to find any driver support for using this with my Mac Book Pro. Is it just that I can't find one or is this printer not supported by Mac?

Thanks for this I have installed the driver and my Macbook 'sees' the printer as a possible in the list of printers available. However, when I try to use the HP1020 as the selected printer while the document appears in the printer list and it seems to be printing it nothing happens at the printer??

How do you have it connected? Wireless or USB?

You have to "select" the driver for your HP first before it will print. Have you done that?

No? Here's how: System Preferences, Print & Fax. Your HP 1020 should be listed. Highlight it by selecting it. Click on "Options & Supplies". Now select the driver tab. Use the down arrow to scroll to the driver you installed. Select it and OK.

Do a test print to see if everything is working OK. Let us know.

Regards.
