That is not what I call giving details lol.

If you are trying to convert videos that you downloaded somewhere like .avi etc., and IF you have a Mac, use Videomonkey and simply choose the Apple TV Format. That works like a charm for me.

Other than that, I don't know more.

Check out a program called Handbrake. It will convert almost any file into a format that is compatible with the iPad. Use the AppleTV preset to get the best results.
