Carrying Case or Backpack?

Not sure where this goes.

I am wondering what you all use to carry your macbook around. Right now I have an old school backpack that puts my macbook among different magazines, and no real place for any extra stuff. I don't really like the shoulder bags, and really like the backpacks. Let me know what you got, or a link to a website. What about the bags that the Apple stores sell? Any good? Or overpriced and should spend my money someplace else?

I personally like using a carry case but my university days have long since been behind me. Going about from class to class, a backpack is probably more convenient. But don't opt for a cheap one. Get one that can accommodate the machine in a separate compartment without having books or what not bang into it.

The Apple stores have a nice selection but the prices always seem higher there. I find places like Wal-Mart, Target, or even Best Buy to have a good selection at decent prices. And then there is always Office Depot or Staples.

I currently have a Swiss Gear carrying case and a Sharper Image backpack on wheels. I used the backpack all last semester in college because I had several books & notebooks to carry around. My MacBook Pro had it's own compartment and for that reason, I loved the backpack for college. HOWEVER, I prefer the Swiss Gear carrying case much more and use it for everything non-college. I suggest Swiss Gear carrying case all the way!
