Hey All,

Getting my first Mac this morning. I want to put all my music, and I have lots, on my Mac's Itunes first thing but I was just going ask before I spent money...
Is there anyway to transfer songs with like a usb chord or some other connector?
I can go out and buy some DVD-RW's and make data disks but that requires money and extra time going to the store and burning ect.

Just checking to see before I went out of my way, thanks!

You could stick them both on your network and transfer the files that way.

It sounds like you do it via itunes and it puts your songs on the internet of some sort then log in and transfer?

Thank you!
But what about for my PC? It has to be connected as well right?
Yes. They'll both need to be on the same network. If this is getting a bit too complicated, you could also just buy a cheapo USB harddrive or thumb drive and use that to transfer your music :)

Which link? The one about general networking or about iTunes home sharing?

iTunes home sharing will work the same on the PC as long as you have the latest version of iTune installed.

Please also try to be more specific with your questions.
