I have had my mac and apple tv and iTunes running really well for some time. Most of the time I simply sync all the movies I want to watch from iTunes to the apple tv.
My problem is when I ask the apple tv to connect to my shared iTunes library it gives me a random number which iTunes is meant to prompt me for. My problem is iTunes doesn't prompt me at all and I can't stream anything.
This has been a real problem for me as I would like to have the ability to stream as my apple tv drive is now full.
I am running snow leopald veer 10.6.4
Can anybody shed some light on this problem? Any help appreciated.
