Deleting applications

I downloaded and installed Windows Media Player on my power G4 (running Tiger) and want to get rid of it. I've dragged the icon to the trash, but when I go to empty the trash it says the file is locked. I've checked get:info and it doesn't show up as locked. What can I do to get this blasted application off my computer? Worse yet, I managed to make a copy of the application, so now have TWO versions on my computer. Help! :eek:neye:

You can try pressing the option key and then select empty trash from the drop down menu.
