This just inspired me to go buy a book about programming (Xcode, what is it? C++ programming?).

I think you can do C++ development in Xcode but if you want to do native Mac apps in Xcode, you're going to want to look into Objective-C. I don't have much experience with it myself but AFAIK, it's the primary language used for Mac development.

With Xcode4 I believe you can do C++, C and Objective C.

Not sure as I still use visual studio with C++.
