I just put together a new PC with Windows 7. I've been using Macs predominately for the past 5yrs and have my cable internet going to a mushroom Airport Extreme wireless then to my iMac. So what I'm saying is that the iMac is the base of the wireless in my house. I've got two other Mac's in the house and all were very intuitively configured using the various menus that pop up on the Mac to do so.

However, I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to get my Windows 7 PC to see the Printer that is also hard wired to the iMac using the USB. Maybe the printer should be hardwired to the Airport Extreme?

However, I would like to get my Windows 7 PC to be able to print. I cannot figure out how to set things up. Any ideas?

I would try hard wiring the printer to the Airport Extreme. Your Mac machines and the Win 7 PC should then be able to see it on the network and print.

Regards.

Have you installed bonjour on the PC?
Bonjour Print Services for Windows
Either you have it connected to the Mac or the Extreme - but you'll still need bonjour for windows for you PC to find it.
