There was a brief mention of Leopard in Jobs' keynote at the WWDC 2005
Its supposed to be released the same time as Longhorn

What do you think is going to be included in this
Rite now i think its mostly smoke and mirrors
Its just there to show that they are still working
But they will get to it pretty soon
I dont know what else they can improve on
Tiger is already more advanced than longhorn is going to be

I think they have to make the interface more advanced
Get more applications ported on the OS
Write more drivers

And on the business end
They have to release it on other computer companies hardware
Give it out to Dell, HP, Toshibal, etc...
Let people build there own macs

That will be nirvana
They will gain an enourmous amount of market share overnight

They really gotta blow longhorn away

They need to introduce differnt OS type (media-tablet-mobile)

They gotta get a handheld-tablet-phone out there
they have to expand their currrent product line to be more for high end, and beginner users, no between

Apple needs to acuire, Palmone - Tivo and motion computing

They also have to fix their iPods
They have alot of problems
Its turing into a windows kind of product (not the best, but it still has a huge market share)
It needs more features

Mac should be a software company 1st then a hardware company

And lastley
they have to do something about their servers
the software is amazing
but the hardware is disappointing
everything is good on the hardware
except
the hard drives
where are the SCSI s
and wats with those prices

Apple has the most potential out there
And 2006 is theirs and linuxes chance to bring down microsoft

They also need to releasse a gaming line
and get all windows games on the mac

I can go on and on about wat apple needs to do
but its up to them

back to the subject
what do you folks think about leopard

thanx
